Dominique Cable

Program Coordinator

Dominique Cable is the Program Coordinator for courses in mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and community services.

She has worked in case management in the Community Services industry for over 10 years. Her passion is in working in childhood and intergenerational trauma as well as family/domestic violence. She has worked in numerous child protection systems in Sydney, Melbourne and London. She then worked in various non-government organisations with young people in residential care. Her last role before joining Upskilled was as a specialist alcohol and other drugs worker in an intensive family support role.

She has trained extensively in Motivational Social Work and motivational interviewing using strengths-based approaches to empower individuals and communities.

Dominique then decided to train as a teacher and joined Upskilled to share her experiences and support others in their goal of working in the Community Services Industry.

Her qualifications include:

Bachelor of Social Work
Diploma of Community Services
Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs
Certificate IV in Mental Health
Certificate IV in Training and Assessing
