    The Advanced Diploma of Accounting is also suitable if you are new to the accounting field. If you don’t have prerequisite units, including the Certificate IV or a Diploma of Accounting, you can undertake this course as a pathway that includes these prerequisite units. Upon completion, you’ll also be eligible to register as a BAS agent or Tax Agent, as this course satisfies the Tax Practitioners Board’s (TPB) primary qualification requirements for both.

    The Advanced Diploma of Accounting is a flexible and innovative program designed to help you achieve steady progression through its units of competency. You must successfully complete all units of competency to attain the FNS60215 Advanced Diploma of Accounting. In doing so, you will equip yourself with work-ready skills prized by employers.

That means you can learn at your own pace, gaining the knowledge, expertise and capabilities to launch or advance your career.

    The Advanced Diploma of Accounting is delivered by expert trainers in one of three delivery methods: online, classroom, or blended.

    The online training program is our most popular delivery method and provides access to a fully customised e-learning environment, MyUpskilled. MyUpskilled includes powerpoint resources, reading materials, discussion boards, forums, access to assessments, resources, videos (including access to the Lynda.com video training library) and blogs.  The course is conducted over a 12 month period with one unit of competency expected to be completed each month.
     
    Classroom and Blended delivery formats are also available, but subject to minimum numbers. Please contact our Education managers to find out more about our face-to-face options.

    Prerequisites

    This qualification is suited to participants who possess a sufficient grasp of the English language, and appropriate attitude and motivation to enable them to undertake the demands of an Advanced Diploma level qualification including these entry requirements:

    • English language proficiency (Year 12 English or equivalent); OR
    • Demonstrate appropriate academic standing or workplace experience for the chosen qualification

    Recognition of Prior Learning

    If you have previously undertaken tertiary study at a recognised institution or even have some relevant work experience, you may be exempted from specific units in a course.  Application for Credit Transfer or RPL must be submitted prior to enrolment, or along with your Enrolment Form. Please note that you will not be able to apply for CT or RPL after admission and enrolment into a course.

    Assessment

    A student is deemed competent when all relevant evidence is gathered.  Upskilled is receptive to evidence gathered from a variety of sources including our own assessment processes.  Upskilled assessment processes include:

    Regular training and assessment contact will be maintained by Upskilled in conjunction with the participant and their employer (where applicable).
