Detail

Our course material covers the fundamental areas of event management such as project management, concepts and design, visitor economy, event policy and strategy, and more. Along with a specialisation in this field, students will also be trained in the skillset required for the wider business realm, with units focusing on marketing strategy, business analysis, risk management, and many others. This degree can be completed in just two years when enrolling in the accelerated delivery mode, meaning you could fast-track your path to a bachelor’s degree, which typically takes 3-4 years to complete.
  • Course structure

    This course is delivered over a duration of 2-4 years.  You can choose from Full-time, part-time or accelerated delivery modes, putting you in total control of your completion date. Campus locations are available in Sydney and Brisbane.

  • Entry requirements

    Students will need access to a computer, and the internet, and have basic computing skills. A Language Literacy and Numeracy skills assessment may be required before enrolment can be confirmed.

    For domestic students: Degree: ATAR 60 or equivalent associate degree: ATAR 58 or equivalent higher education diploma: ATAR 56 or equivalent, or any completed diploma, or any completed foundation certificate. Special entry can be applied for if you have demonstrated the ability to undertake study at this level through work experience, and/or other formal, informal or non-formal study attempted and/or completed.

    International students require an IELTS 6.0 with no skills band less than 5.5. Applicants should have completed Senior High School Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent, or mature age entry with relevant work experience.

You can send your application for Credit Transfer or RPL during the enrolment process.
  • Industry Placement
    Students undertake over 500 hours of practical work placement over the course of their degree, which means you graduate with not only a qualification but also invaluable professional experience - equipping you to be work ready.
