As a guide, entrants to this program may:
- have completed year 12, or
- a qualification at Certificate IV level or higher, or
- 4 years of relevant industry experience in a role that requires the use of written documentation and communication.
You will also need to be at least 18 years at the time of applying for admission.
This course has a prerequsite for all core units in BSB42415 - Certificate IV in Marketing and Communications

BSBMKG417 Apply marketing communication across a convergent industry
BSBMKG418 Develop and apply knowledge of marketing communication industry
BSBCMM401 Make a presentation

The participants for the BSB52415 - Diploma of Marketing and Communication may be employees already working in a managerial or supervisory role or may have attained a Certificate IV in Marketing or in an allied field.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base in marketing management and demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that marketing functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically, they would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams in conducting marketing campaigns.
