Workers who want to upskill may need to pay more for their qualification. Have a look at this article from the The Advertiser about how new legislation could affect what you choose to study, and how much you might have to pay.

Summary: There was a $470 million cut over a four-year period, $280 million for part-time employees and $90 million incentive cuts for diploma level and above. This meant a removal of certain incentives for business and companies (to put staff through training).
