Upskilled appoints new Operations manager

Leanne Courtney recently joined the team at Upskilled as our new Operations Manager and will be responsible for ensuring our customer service standards are being met, along with managing the business faculty in terms of quality and compliance.    

Starting her career in the travel and tourism industry, Leanne soon found her passion for training during her time at Southern Cross Distribution Systems where she managed the installation of new hardware and software as well as training clients in their use to ensure a streamlined service.

Taking this passion for Training a step further, Leanne secured a position as a Trainer at Tafe NSW, specialising in teaching Tourism subjects up to Diploma level.  Leanne honed her skills as a Trainer at Tafe over a 16 year period where she was involved with online learning development, the development and validation of assessments and a range of other special projects.

Leanne has since worked with various training companies, moving up to Training Manager along with working as an independent Trainer/Assessor with expertise in a broad range of Training Packages including Tourism & Hospitality, Training & Education, Financial Services, Retail Services, Business Services, Community Services and Information Technology.

With specialities in training team management, workforce development, learning and development strategies and compliance management along with her expertise in an extensive range of training packages Leanne will be a great asset to Upskilled and our customers.

Leanne holds a Bachelor of Training & Development, Diplomas in Management and Tourism, a Certificate  IV in Training & Assessment, and is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in eLearning, Education.
