Upskilled textbook and e-book coming soon!

By | 07 August 2012

Upskilled will be launching it’s own Textbook and e-book in September in an effort to further boost the quality of learning materials for students undertaking a Diploma of Management, Diploma of Business or Diploma of Business Administration. Each new student enrolling in the above mentioned qualifications will receive both a hard-copy text book and access to an e-book version of the same text, at no additional cost. This exciting initiative sees us working with World leading education publisher, Pearson to offer a customised version of “Management Theory and Practice” by Kris Cole.

The e-book version will be accessed via VitalSource Bookshelf, which is the most used e-textbook platform in the world today. Students will be able to access their textbook from anywhere, at anytime, with Bookshelf available for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. Some of the features include the ability to create study notes and collaborate with teachers and classmates; search functionality to get the information you need faster; support for rich media and interactivity; and accessibility options for impaired students.

“Management Theory and Practice” explains management theory in everyday language and puts it in a context that makes it easy to understand. It provides practical information and examples that help students of management, as well as practising managers, successfully apply management theory in today’s changing and challenging work environment.

The text will become available for new students enrolling in the Diploma of Management, Diploma of Business and Diploma of Business Administration from September. Upskilled is working to launch a series of text books to cover all of our most popular courses in the near future.
