Work Experience History:

Darrell has over 25 years’ experience in software and database development and administration. Owning an IT Service and Training consulting business for 15 years, Darrell has provided software solutions and training for SMB and not-for-profit organisations. Darrell has also been employed as a State Training Manager and VET trainer in software/web/database and service management technologies for 10 years. Providing vendor specific training in class and workplace environments he currently holds many Microsoft and ITIL certifications.

Early in his career Darrell developed amongst many projects, a national loyalty program introducing touch screen technology for general public use. This provided him the opportunity to research user interaction with technology in all demographics. This was supported by his education in psychology and human-machine interaction. Darrell’s strengths are his strong analytical application to form and function of IT solutions along with a strong sense of process management in support of translating the binary nature of technology to an easy to consume understanding for the analogue and creative human psyche.

Darrell’s forte is managing processes and defining requirements for successful solutions to be installed/managed in an environment ensuring the required documentation and training is provided for users.
