What do I need to know about my AWS Academy additional learning content?

So you’ve enrolled in your Upskilled qualification that includes an additional and free AWS Academy learning content. We’re excited that you took the big step to get Upskilled!

To help you get started we’ve put together a list of our most popular questions:

When will I gain access to the AWS Academy online learning platform?

The AWS Academy additional learning resource will become available once you reach the associated unit within your Upskilled course.

You will receive an invitation email at the email address you provided to Upskilled when you enrolled. This invitation email should arrive within one (1) business day of reaching the associated unit as listed below.

How do I log into the AWS Academy learning platform?

Once you have received your invitation email, the process is pretty straightforward.

Simply click the link in the email and follow the instructions to create your account or log in if you already have an AWS Academy account.

What if I can’t find my AWS Academy invitation email?

The following steps are a great way to troubleshoot finding your invitation email:

1. Have you reached the associated unit?
First, make sure it has been at least one (1) business day since you reached the associated unit in your Upskilled qualification. If not, you will not have received your invitation email yet.

2. Re-check your inbox
Do search for an email from xxxxxx with the subject line “xxxxxxx”.

Please make sure you’re using the same email address you enrolled with, and check your spam folders too. A search across “all mail” can help.

3. Give us a call
If all else fails and you still cannot locate your invitation email, give us a call so we can help sort out the issue.

How long do I have access to the AWS Academy learning platform?

Additional learning resources are available for 3 months from the date of logging into the AWS Academy platform. You will have unlimited access during that time.

Upskilled cannot extend your time, so please ensure you have registered when you know you have the ability to complete all modules.

When will I receive my AWS certification exam discount voucher?

If you are enrolled in an AWS Academy certification course through Upskilled, you will receive a discount voucher for 50% off your certification exam.

The voucher will be sent to you via email from AWS Academy once you have completed your certification course.

When and where can I sit my AWS certification exam?

Once you successfully complete your AWS Academy certification course, you will be able to sit an external, proctored exam. The exam is booked by yourself through Pearson VUE. The exam is separate from your Upskilled qualification and will not affect your course outcomes.

Remember - Upskilled students will receive a discount voucher for 70% off their AWS certification exam. Please make sure you have received your exam discount voucher prior to booking.
