AI Training for Business

Equip your teams with the skills to thrive in the AI-powered workplace. Our AI short courses are designed for businesses ready to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and empower their people with next-gen technology.

Transform Your Workforce with AI Training

AI is no longer a future concept; it's something your team either uses well or uses poorly. Upskilled Tech Academy runs instructor-led AI training for organisations, delivered virtually or at your workplace, and quoted per booking rather than per seat.

There are three practical workshops for teams, and the right one depends on which AI tool your organisation has settled on. Introduction to AI for the Workplace is the tool-agnostic starting point, run in whichever AI tools you already have. Work Smarter with Microsoft 365 Copilot is for organisations that have licensed Copilot. Claude for Microsoft 365 Essentials is for teams working with Claude alongside Microsoft 365.

For leaders, Strategic AI Adoption for Business Leaders is a half-day executive session that maps high-value use cases and produces an early adoption plan, and AI Strategy & Adoption Workshop (for teams) is a two-day strategy sprint for cross-functional groups.

Introduction to AI for the Workplace

AI is changing how teams work, and nobody needs to be technical to take advantage of it. Introduction to AI for the Workplace is a hands on, one day workshop that turns scattered experimenting into a consistent, safe way of working. Participants learn to write prompts that produce usable output, review what AI gives back before it goes anywhere near a client, apply your privacy and confidentiality obligations, and build AI into the processes they already run.

The workshop is deliberately tool agnostic. Rather than drilling your people through one product they may not be using next year, it teaches the judgement that transfers between tools, then runs the live practice inside whatever your organisation has already approved, whether that is Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Google Gemini or something else. Everyone leaves with a student handbook, prompts written for their own recurring tasks and a set of team ground rules for safe AI use.

  • Duration: 1-Day Workshop
  • Delivery: Virtual or On-Site
  • Modules: 8 Practical Modules
  • Tools: Runs in the AI tools your organisation already has

Work Smarter with Microsoft 365 Copilot

Most organisations that roll out Microsoft 365 Copilot find the same thing a few months later. A handful of people use it every day; most try it twice, then drift back to old habits, and nobody is quite sure what is safe to put into it. The licences are being paid for either way.

This workshop closes that gap, and you build it yourself. Rather than a fixed agenda, it is a menu of twelve modules covering Copilot fundamentals, Copilot in Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the newer ground of Copilot Notebooks, AI image generation, and Copilot Agents. You choose the modules, length, and format, and an Upskilled education consultant shapes it into a session that fits your team. You work through every module in your own Microsoft 365 environment.

  • Duration: 2-Hour to Full-Day Workshop
  • Delivery: Virtual or On-Site
  • Modules: 12 Modules to Choose From
  • Requirement: Microsoft 365 Copilot licence for every participant

Claude for Microsoft 365 Essentials

Plenty of people already have a Claude subscription and use it as a slightly better search box. This workshop is about everything else: using Claude properly alongside the Microsoft 365 tools your team works in all day, on the documents, inboxes, transcripts and spreadsheets they actually deal with.

Across three modules, the day covers practical prompting and data safety, then applies Claude to real work in Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel, and finishes with Claude Connectors for securely querying approved company documents and SharePoint files. Claude sits alongside Microsoft 365 rather than inside it, so much of the day focuses on teaching people to move work between the two without creating a privacy problem along the way.

  • Duration: 1-Day Workshop
  • Delivery: Virtual or On-Site
  • Modules: 3 Modules covering 5 Microsoft apps
  • Requirement: A paid Claude licence and Claude for Work for the Connectors content

AI Training FAQs: Everything You Need to Know

Introduction to AI for the Workplace is a one-day, instructor-led workshop that teaches office-based teams how to use AI effectively at work. Across eight modules, participants learn what AI can and cannot do; how to write prompts that produce usable output; how to review outputs for accuracy and bias; how to use AI safely within privacy and confidentiality obligations; and how to build it into the workflows they already run. It is deliberately tool-agnostic, so the practice runs in whichever AI tools your organisation has already approved.

AI is most useful for repetitive work: drafting and replying, summarising long documents and threads, pulling actions out of meetings, organising information, and making a first pass at a report. The gain comes from doing those faster and then checking the output properly, not from handing work over wholesale. Our workshops focus on that judgement, because a team that cannot tell a good AI answer from a confidently wrong one does not save any time at all.

Business users rather than IT staff: executives and senior managers, team leaders and supervisors, administration and office support, executive assistants, project coordinators, and marketing, HR, finance and operations teams. The common thread is people who have been issued a Copilot licence but aren't yet getting value from it. It also suits organisations partway through a rollout where the licences have landed but adoption has stalled.

Copilot across Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint, plus Copilot Chat, prompting, security and data protection, Copilot Notebooks, AI image generation and an introduction to Copilot Agents. There are twelve modules in total, and none are compulsory, so you can choose the ones that match your team and the time you can commit.

One day, delivered either as a live virtual classroom or on-site at your workplace. The training covers all eight modules. The day is hands-on, with short teaching blocks followed by practice on your team's own work.

It can take a great deal of the effort out of them. Drafting and triaging emails in Outlook, summarising a long Teams thread into actions, explaining or building an Excel formula, turning a document into a first-draft deck in PowerPoint. What it does not do is run unattended, which is why the workshop spends time reviewing output before it is sent and on what should never be put into an AI tool in the first place.

No. All three team workshops are written for business users. No programming, data science, configuration, or administration. Participants need basic confidence with the tools they already use, and the course covers AI from the beginning.

They turn scattered individual experimentation into a consistent, safe standard across the team. People leave with prompts written for their own recurring tasks, a way to check AI output before sharing it, and a shared understanding of what is and isn't appropriate to put into an AI tool. Each participant receives a student handbook and a certificate issued by Upskilled Tech Academy.

A one-day, hands-on workshop for teams using Claude alongside Microsoft 365. It covers practical prompting and data safety, applying Claude to real work in Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel, and using Claude Connectors to securely query approved company documents and SharePoint files. Participants work on their own documents and emails, not sample files.

For two of the three, yes. Work Smarter with Microsoft 365 Copilot is taught inside your own environment, so every participant needs an active Microsoft 365 Copilot licence. Claude for Microsoft 365 Essentials needs a paid Claude licence for every participant, and the Claude Connectors content needs a Claude for Work plan rather than a personal subscription. Introduction to AI for the Workplace has no licence requirement because it runs in whichever AI tools you already have.
