Upskilled announced as finalist for 2021 Australian Education and Training Awards

We're excited to announce that Upskilled has been nominated as a finalist for the 2021 Australian Education and Training Awards under the Excellence in Learner Experience category. 

We were selected from a pool of outstanding submissions in the sector, highlighting our passion and drive in providing quality education to our students. 

What are the 2021 Australian Education and Training Awards? 

The 2021 Australian Education and Training Awards is an awards program that showcases a selection of high-performing educational institutes, making a significant impact within the Vocational and Education Training (VET) space. 

Candlefox is a reputable education marketing agency known to help education providers maximise their opportunities in increasing student enrolments. 

They are the runners of the awards program, providing an opportunity for educational institutes like Upskilled to receive recognition for their ongoing commitment and work in skills, training and workforce development. 

As 2021 has proven to be a challenging year, education providers have worked hard to ensure that courses are being developed to meet the changing needs of prospective students, so the Australian Education and Training Awards can help education providers demonstrate their excellence, commitment and resilience to education. 

What is the Excellence in Learner Experience award? 

This is the category Upskilled has been nominated for and it provides recognition of a training provider that has delivered quality learning experiences for its students. 

Upskilled has provided quality online education to over 31,000 students to date in business, community services and IT. Our commitment is to ensure that students receive ongoing support and feel guided throughout their learning journey.

We do this by:

• Creating an experience for students: We ensure that our students are well supported throughout their learning journey. This means they have access to additional learning resources, such as exclusive video content through LinkedIn Learning, ClickView or Pluralsight. Our courses are also practical in terms of offering role-playing and interactive learning activities in the assessments.
• Having supportive staff: We have a dedicated team of highly experienced trainers who possess higher level qualifications combined with professional experience to ensure quality training is delivered to our students. Our student support team is also Australian-based making it easier for students to give them a call should they go through any issues during their course.
