Arlaine Berman

Arlaine Berman is Head of Vocational Education for IT at Upskilled, responsible for how the Technology faculty's qualifications are designed, kept current and delivered.

IT is the hardest faculty to keep current. Certifications are retired, platforms change, and a course written three years ago can quietly stop matching what employers hire for. Arlaine's background spans several decades as a networking engineer and trainer, plus an MBA alongside technical certifications is what the role needs: someone who can read both a release note and a business case.

Arlaine set up and runs her own ecommerce website, and continues to support private clients with network and software management issues. Faculty leadership in technology is more credible when the person doing it still troubleshoots real systems.
