What is a Certificate III?
An entry-level qualification, recognised right across Australia.
A Certificate III sits at Level 3 of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). It's a nationally recognised vocational qualification that gives you the practical skills and theoretical knowledge to perform skilled work in a specific industry.
Cert IIIs are typically the entry point into a trade or profession. Employers across aged care, disability support, business administration, and IT recognise the qualification as evidence that you can do the job from day one.
From here, you can ladder up to a Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher qualification. Or step straight into work. The choice is yours.
