Sadiq Merchant joined Upskilled during its start-up phase in May 2009, and has played an integral role in building and growing the recruitment and customer service capability. In 2012, Sadiq was appointed as co-CEO, becoming sole CEO in December 2017.
Before joining Upskilled, Sadiq had more than 6 years’ experience in the informatio technology industry, and 5 years in the education sector with another RTO, and currently is a committee member of the ACPET and Department of Industries Reference Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and has completed postgraduate studies in Information Systems Management.
