Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit Transfer

You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT) provided that you have supporting evidence of any prior education and work experience. This can either reduce your study load or shorten the duration of your course. Prior to enrolment, please speak with your Education Consultant for further details.

After enrolment, you can download the application from MyUpskilled, or on request from Student Support. A trainer will be assigned to assess your eligibility for RPL and/or CT.

Assessment

The unit applies to individuals who are developing and coaching others, for whom critical thinking skills (including analysis, synthesis, and evaluation) are an important part of their job roles. This unit applies to individuals who are typically responsible for leading teams.

    Develop workplace policies and procedures for sustainability

    This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement workplace sustainability policies and to modify the policy to suit changed circumstances. The unit applies to individuals with managerial responsibilities who undertake work developing approaches to create, monitor and improve strategies and policies within workplaces. These individuals also engage with a range of relevant stakeholders and specialists. 'Sustainability' in this unit refers to a broad approach that focuses on the minimisation of an organisationā€™s social, economic and environmental impact, as well as proactive value creation in these areas.

    Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs

    This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to implement and monitor an organisationā€™s work health and safety (WHS) policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area in order to meet legislative requirements. The unit applies to those with supervisory responsibilities in a work area who have a broad knowledge of WHS policies and contribute well-developed skills in creating solutions to problems through analysis and evaluation of information from a variety of sources. They provide supervision and guidance to others and have limited responsibility for the output of others.

  • BSBHRM412
    Support employee and industrial relations

    This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to communicate and implement employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) policies and procedures to effectively represent organisations and employers. The unit applies to individuals who work in support positions, assisting others in dealing with ER and IR conflicts and issues.
