Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit Transfer

You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT) provided that you have supporting evidence of any prior education and work experience. This can either reduce your study load or shorten the duration of your course. Prior to enrolment, please speak with your Education Consultant for further details.

Assessment
This course will have you undertake summative and formative assessments, write reports and/or create a portfolio, and participate in role-playing scenarios. You'll also be working on a variety of projects that require your own research as well as answering various written/oral questions that apply the theory you learn into practice.

Use digital technologies to collaborate in a work environment

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to understand the fundamentals of using digital technologies to collaborate in a workplace context, including working as part of a remote team. It involves undertaking a basic review of organisational processes to identify opportunities for using digital technologies to complete work tasks more efficiently and effectively. The unit applies to those who use problem-solving skills and take responsibility for adopting and promoting approaches to improve organisational operations, particularly relating to the use of digital technologies.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to establish, develop and maintain effective work relationships and networks through relationship building and negotiation skills required by workers. This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to design and develop business documents using complex technical features of word processing software. The unit applies to those who work in a range of business environments and have skills which may be applied in the provision of administrative support within an enterprise, or by technical experts responsible for producing their own word- processed documents.

Coordinate business resources

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to determine and analyse existing and required resources, their effective application and the accountability for their use. The unit applies to individuals with a broad knowledge of business resources and well-developed skills to ensure adequate resources are available to perform the work of the organisation. They may have responsibility to provide guidance to, or delegate aspects of these tasks to others.
