Course Structure

Aligned to the BABOK® Guide Version 3, this course delves into all the key skills and knowledge required of any successful business analysis career. Learn to make better decisions and form strategic solutions by leveraging data, statistics, and optimisation models. You'll also familiarise yourself with Agile frameworks and the common tools used to perform analytical tasks - including Python, Excel, and the Tableau platform. Through a multitude of hands-on industry projects (including a final capstone), graduates will earn 35 PDs/CDUs from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and globally-recognised credentials from Purdue and IBM.

Each course is delivered in regular one week periods on a cohort based learning structure. This means students are required to complete training in their specific chosen schedule enabling students to focus and practice skills they have learned in class from start to finish.

Section 1 - CBAP® - Certified Business Analysis Professional [IIBA Accredited Course]
Delve into the critical areas of business analysis, including effective planning and solution design; advanced documentation; and agile methodologies. You will also learn to perform requirement and strategy analysis; lifecycle management; and basic planning and monitoring.

Section 2 - PC BA - Business Analytics with Excel
Learn to leverage data analysis in business through common office tools such as Excel. Build the skills in performing advanced, sophisticated data analytics - helping you make effective data-driven decisions in the workplace.

Section 3- PC BA - Tableau Training
Familiarise yourself with the Tableau Desktop 10 platform by learning to perform critical tasks on the program such as data organisation, dashboard design, and visualisation building.

Build the skills in leveraging IBM Decision Optimisation Technology, helping you construct effective optimisation models for solving business problems.

Section 7 - PC BA - Business Analyst Capstone
Put your newfound training to practice through a cumulative capstone project in three different domains: hospitality, retail, and banking.
